Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely famous. Her mother raised her in the USA, where she faced several racial stereotypes, which caused her to feel as an unwanted person. When she was in 9th grade she began to feel more secure after being applauded by her teachers for singing at a school's audition. The experience not only increased the confidence of her, but altered the direction of her career. She was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she turned 23 years old, she launched her career on Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, when she was 23 her first film debut was You've Got Mail. Her biggest break came with her role as The Lady of The Lake as she appeared in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great praise for the performance. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC her role was given greater recognition. As a well-known singer, she also released a single and an extended show. In her role as an activist, she works tirelessly for LGBT equality.
