David Muir, an American journalist who anchors the ABC News magazine 20 is most well-known as the co-anchor for World News Tonight With David Muir. The program, which is characterized by its dramatic videos, celebrity news and animated movements has been voted the top news show in America. Made In America has also been nominated for Emmys. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, He was the main replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. In recent years he's covered a variety of ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's traveled the world, reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He has received multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as distinctions of the Associated Press.
