Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie has been the first female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, from Iceland - a CrossFit weightlifter, media star and CrossFit competitor - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The media acclaim came from her becoming the first woman who been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments include winning Dubai Fitness Contests in 2013 and 2013. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. Being an avid sportsman and exercising enthusiast from an early age, she took part in various school sports and also won numerous awards. She first took part in 2009 in the CrossFit competitions in California and did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. Later in the year, she participated again in CrossFit events and thanks to her outstanding performance, she was able to win these games, becoming the first female winner of CrossFit Games. Annie is the only woman who has ever won repeatedly in CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her extraordinary performance. She also took home a gold. In 2021, she won the bronze. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance's Periodization and Nuunhydration Yerbae. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where she publishes instructional videos, family videos, and travel vlogs.
