Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the United States. She's primarily an actor, however she is also a singer and songwriter. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". She considers herself to be an artist first and foremost. According to her, music is her primary passion. She is experimenting at since she was 9 years old. The first time she began to study the field of music professionally at 12 years old. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her album of music covers when she was fourteen. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic roots. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she spoke English as a child and her whole life was in the United States. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs she tries to keep the culture alive. One of her efforts was the creation of a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was picked to perform for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of the year 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor after she submitted a YouTube performance video. She received an impressive four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three female singers along with her were grouped together to perform for the remaining songs. They were eliminated at the conclusion of the fifth performance.
